ATV Riding

ATV riding allows you to explore the beautiful and scenic Pocono Mountains from behind the scenes. Your ATV adventure will take you on trails that twist and turn through the forest was you navigate your own machine across ever-changing terrain. You will climb and descend as you explore the rugged and scenic lost trails. Reservations are required and this activity sells out quickly, so book soon to secure your spot.

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced rates are $143.00/couple for two drivers OR $89/couple for one driver and one passenger.

Our year-round, guided ATV trail rides are available Thursday through Monday, with rides starting at 10AM, 12PM and 2PM. Each session is supervised by experienced guides and lasts 1.5 hours, including safety orientation. Safety orientation and instruction are provided before the trail ride, and drivers are required to demonstrate their ability to operate the quad machines on a pre-tour practice trail.  The ATV machines used in these tours are Polaris Sportsman & Hawkeye. New to the fleet is a side-by-side Bobcat, which allows passengers to ride alongside the guide—perfect for the young-at-heart.

Leisure Rafting & Whitewater Rafting

Leisure Rafting
Put on your swim gear, pack a picnic lunch, and make a day of it as you float through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area or the Lehigh River Gorge State Park, enjoying the scenery and watching the wildlife. Leisure rafting is available every day throughout the summer.

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced rate for leisure rafting on the Delaware is $69.95/couple.

Leisure rafting trips range from two-hour paddles to all-day excursions. Open Memorial Day through mid-October, leisure rafting is available seven days a week, with trips going out all day from 10AM through 3PM (8AM trips are available on weekends). Parking, shuttle transportation to and from the river, life jackets, paddles, river maps, and safety orientation are all provided. Please note that there is a four-person minimum to rent a raft on the Delaware. Eight-person rafts are available, so this is a great activity for group retreats!

Whitewater Rafting
Whitewater Rafting is available on the Lehigh River from March through October. Daily leisure-style trips provide mild water with touches of Class II whitewater. On special Dam Release dates, water unleashed from the Francis E. Walter Dam provides Class III whitewater! Enjoy your adventure surrounded by pristine, state park protected woodlands and mountains. Reservations are required and dam release dates sell out quickly, so book soon to secure your spot.

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced couples’ rates for Whitewater Rafting on the Lehigh are $99.00/couple for the Gorge (Class III) and $95.00/couple for the Gateway (Class II).

Dam release whitewater rafting trips are accompanied by a river guide in a kayak, and include a shuttle to and from the river, all rafting equipment, and life jackets. Lunch is not included, but you can bring your own to store in a watertight container. Watertight containers are provided in the rafts to keep your lunch and gear dry during the trip. Wetsuits are also available for $7/half suit or $14/full suit.

Biking

The Poconos offers trails for all ability levels, providing leisurely biking with plenty of time to take in nature’s beauty and breathe in its tranquility. You can move at your own pace on the McDade Trail alongside the Delaware River or on the Lehigh Gorge Rail-Trail beside the Lehigh River. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and enjoy your own picnic lunch along the way.

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced couples’ rate for biking on the McDade Trail is $39.95/couple. Our reduced rate for biking on the Lehigh Rail Trail is $76.00/Couple.

You can choose from a 2-hour & 10-mile bike ride along the beautiful Delaware River or a 3-hour & 12-mile or 5-hour & 24-mile trip along the Lehigh River.  Biking is available year-round (weather permitting) and seven days a week during the summer months. Lunch is not provided, but you are welcome to bring some along.

Hiking

This all-season activity allows you to explore the Poconos intimately, even exploring under fall foliage or in a winter wonderland! Traverse the trails with a knowledgeable guide and get the most out of your adventure together. Our historical Delaware Water Gap hiking tour explores the area’s rich ecological and cultural background, taking you along the famed Appalachian Trail and across mountain streams and scenic vistas. Or, pair a hike with fishing in Big Pocono State Park and enjoy a romantic campfire picnic lunch.

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced couples’ rate for the guided Appalachian Trail hike is $39.95/couple. Guided Appalachian Trail hikes last 2-3 hours and are available year round. They are open seven days a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day and on weekends during the rest of the year.

Our reduced couple’s rate for the Big Pocono Hike and Fish Package is $59.95/couple. The Hike & Fish package is available at 10AM daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day and includes pole rentals, bait, equipment, two fish per person, cleaning & filleting, guided hike, and a campfire picnic lunch of your freshly caught fish.

Skydiving

Whether you are new to parachuting or an experienced skydiver, the Poconos is an ideal place for you to make your next skydive. You can experience the thrill of freefall from 13,500 feet on your very first jump, with the lush greenery beneath you, and the mountain skyline on the horizon!

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced rate is or $370.00/couple or $185.00/person.

Skydiving is available every day, provided weather conditions are favorable. Please note that this activity is very sensitive to weather conditions. On weekdays, set aside 2-3 hours for your skydive. Weekend skydiving will take most of the day. Non-certified participants must jump in tandem with an instructor. Video packages are available to document your exciting experience. You must be 18 or older and under 240 lbs to skydive.

Kayaking

Whether you are a beginner or a skilled kayaker, there is a river for you in the Poconos. From all-inclusive beginner trips to barebones shuttle service, we will get you matched with the right outfitter and on your way to adventure. Experienced guides can teach you how to handle a river kayak, or you can zip off at your own leisure. Enjoy the river’s beauty even further by banking for a picnic lunch or a refreshing swim.

River Tubing

When you paddle and drift down the Delaware River in an inflatable river tube, you are as close as you can get to nature.  Put on your swim gear, pack a picnic lunch, and make a day of it as you float through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, enjoying the scenery and watching the wildlife.  Our unguided trips last anywhere from 2 hours to all day, so you can pick the type and length of trip that suites you best.

Paintball

Paintball offers all the excitement of friendly competition. Whether you want to be team-mates or battle it out with your sweetheart, you’ll have a blast playing a variety of scenario games on woodland terrain, with referees supervising the fun. All equipment rentals are provided for you.

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced couples’ rate is $69.95/couple for an all-inclusive paintball package.

Games begin daily at 1:30PM. Play lasts until 6PM or until the players run out of paint, whichever comes first (however, additional paint can be purchased in the pro shop). Package includes admission, 500 paintballs and all necessary equipment: gun/marker, goggles, mask, hopper, pods, air and camouflage fatigues/jumpsuits. Please wear rugged footwear and clothing you are comfortable being active in. Private fields are available for groups of 15 or more.

Fishing

Fishing is available at the Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts, but if you prefer to try something in the area, here are some of the options available.

Fishing is a great way to interact with nature alongside the one you love. And when you fish from a selection of stocked ponds, you’re guaranteed to land a catch! Or, if you are more experienced anglers, take a day trip out on a drift boat, with an experienced guide showing you the best local spots. Whatever your level of experience is, there’s a place for you to relax and enjoy the fresh air and rippling water of the Pocono Mountains. Make a day out of it with a fish and hike excursion in Big Pocono State Park and enjoy your freshly caught fish around a campfire picnic lunch.

What should I know about this activity?
Our reduced couple’s rate for the Big Pocono Hike and Fish Package is $59.95/couple. The Hike & Fish package is available at 10AM daily, Memorial Day through Labor Day. It includes pole rentals, bait, equipment, two fish per person, cleaning & filleting, guided hike, and a campfire picnic lunch of your freshly caught fish.

Fish-and-pay is open year-round and no license is required to participate. Pole rentals, bait, equipment, cleaning & filleting and vacuum packing are all provided.

Please call for pricing on custom, guided fishing experiences on the Delaware River. These half or full-day excursions run daily in rain or shine from spring through fall. An experienced guide, boat rental, life vests, fishing equipment, tackle, and rods are included. A valid PA or NJ Fishing license is required for all river trips.

What would a winter visit to the Poconos be without spending some time on the slopes? Whether you are an expert or beginner at your snow sport of choice, we can help you choose the right mountain to either show off your skills or acquire some new ones. So if you simply need lift tickets or if you want a full package that includes rentals and lessons, we can get you set up with discounts at the best slopes.

Rules and regulations vary by ski resort. Beginners packages with lessons and rentals are available. Snow sports are available in the Poconos when the weather provides natural snow and/or can sustain artificially-spread snow on the slopes, typically in the months of December through March.

Waterpark

Our local outdoor waterpark has the most water slides in PA! Think waterparks are just for kids? Think again. There are 30 slides to choose from amidst a tree-covered mountain side, including a surf simulator, a wave pool, and numerous body, mat and tube slides. Grab a bite from your choice of over 5 restaurants and eateries and sip a cocktail together while taking in the terrific mountain view. We can round out your visit with discount passes to the fun.
