Ultimate Snow Day – Shawnee Mountain
We’ve partnered with Shawnee Mountain to offer day trips from New York City to ski, snowboard and snowtube in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. With this package, you can enjoy both skiing and snow tubing at Shawnee Mountain. Lift tickets, rentals, lesson and a two-hour tubing pass are included.

What should I know about this activity?
Helmets, pants and jackets can be rented for $8/helmet, $10/pants and $10/jacket.
Shawnee Mountain Ski Area features 23 slopes and trails, 2 terrain parks, and a snow tubing park with 100% snowmaking capacity on each trail. The trails are rated at 25 % beginner, 50% Intermediate and 25% Expert. New for the 2010-2011 season is a high-speed quad lift.
Snow tubing is a great winter activity for old and young alike and it couldn’t be easier. There are no special skills or equipment needed. Just show up and have fun! Young children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dress warmly and in layers. Sorry, ski boots are not allowed on the tubing slopes! Please obey all posted rules and safety signage.
On- premise babysitting is available for children 18 months and older. For the hour or the day, children are cared for by Shawnee’s friendly staff. Lunch is included for children participating in a day long visit. Parents just need to remember the diapers. Babysitting is available to 5pm daily beginning mid-December. The cost is $4.00 per child, per hour or $30 for the day.
