For Class II rapids, ask for the Gateway Trip (good for ages 6 and up), which travels 10 miles of river over 4 hours.
Family-style whitewater trips are for ages 4 and up and last 3 to 4 hours over an 8-mile trip. These trips are available daily from March through October (except on dam release dates) and from June 1 through September 6 include a free, all-you-can-eat BBQ lunch.
Semi-whitewater trips on the Upper Delaware provide a taste of whitewater, with occasional Class II & III rapids separated by miles of smooth water. These trips are for ages 5 and up. Choose from a five or ten mile trip and plan to spend four to six hours on the river. These trips do not require a guide and are available starting at 8AM on weekends and 9AM weekdays through 6PM. All rentals include paddles, life jackets and safety instructions/trip orientation. Boating instructions are available for the novice upon request. All river users must be able to swim and weigh a minimum of 40 lbs.
